The Chairman of Yoruba Council of Obas and Chiefs in the 19 Northern States and Abuja, Ambassador Muhammad Arigbagbuwo has condemned the lingering crisis between two communities in Kwara State; Offa and Erin-Ile.
The Royal Father made the assertion while speaking to the media in kaduna yesterday.
Ambassador Arigbagbuwo described the crisis as perennial and unfortunate, and sued for peace among those involved in the crisis.
The monarch said “at this period of time what Kwara needs is peaceful coexisting that wiil trigger development in the state.”
He asked for prayers and support for Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, to handle the situation, saying the looming crisis is been fuelled by saboteurs who did not want to see Kwara state succeed.
Arigbagbuwo also called on the Emir of Ilorin Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, who is the Chairman of Council of Emirs and Chiefs in the state to reach out to traditional rulers within the two communities to call on their subjects to shealth their sword.
