Monarch debunks allegation of North enslaving Yoruba

The Chairman Yoruba Traditional Council of Obas and Chiefs in the 19 Northern States and Abuja Ambassador Muhammadu Arigbabuwo has debunked the allegation trending in some Media that the North is gradually enslaving Yoruba.
He made the assertion while speaking to the media in kaduna yesterday.
The Royal father who was reacting to a statement credited to leader of the purported Yoruba Ethnic Nationality, Professor Banji Akinloye said it is degrading for anybody to believe that the Yoruba race can be enslaved.
Ambassador Arigbabuwo said the Vice President Yemi Osinbanjo have shown that the Yoruba People are people of integrity by saying he is ready to waive his immunity to clear his name.
Acccording to him it is wrong for Banji Akinloye to assumed that the vice President is been persecuted
“We are learned and People of reputable manners,we understand how the Government system function.
“We also have our Royal, Fathers and political leaders. The Present political leader is Ashiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“Tinubu we all know is vast in Government system and will not fold his hand to watch his ethnic group enslaved.
“I advised Banji Akinloye and his group not to create tension between the Yoruba and others ethnic groups
“We as people have benefitted from the present regime and its success is our focus and not crying wolves where there is none,” he said
