The Chairman, Kwami local government area council, Dr. Ahmed Wali said most of the abandoned government facilities in the area were renovated in less than 6 months since his resumption in office.
Dr. Wali made the disclosure on Tuesday in an interview with Peoples Daily.
He also said all the abandoned facilities have been renovated and handed over to the institutions.
He said the facilities which were neglected for more than 10 years have come back to life and “we are trying our best to ensure that people within the communities benefit”
He decried that no fewer than 18 boreholes within the wards at the local government area was abandoned due to lack of supervision.
“The abandoned 18 boreholes have been repaired and put to use across the wards.”
He added that the Primary Health Care which was neglected for years without renovation is having a new look now.
