The secretary, in charge of Dei-Dei Independent motor park, of Kas tina State Transport Authority branch, in Bwari area council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Alhaji Musa Anover, has appealed to the FCT Administration to allocate a piece of land to the transporters  in the park to serve as their  permanent park in the area.

Anover, who made the appeal in an interview with Peoples Daily, pointed out that the leadership of the park has no permanent motor park, since the branch was created for so long now.

He said despite the revenue being generated by the branch for Bwari area council, nothing tangible was done for the operators of the Park.

The Secretary, who said that his administration would continue to support the government of the council, however called on the chairman of the council, Hon. Peter Yohanna Ushafa, to take the officials of the motor park along in the scheme of things in the council.

He pointed out that his leadership would   join hands with the security agencies to protect the lives and property of the people in the park.

He also called on the men of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and police to deem it necessary to arrest any driver who packs indiscriminately along on the roads to pick passengers.

However, he frowned at the FRSC officials who issued driver licence to those driver who could not  drive successfully on the roads, as according to him, those drivers cause accidents on the roads.

He therefore advised drivers to always obey the traffic rules and regulations, while on duty, so as to guarantee the safety of the commuters.
