Motorcycle knocks journalist to death in Bauchi

A motorcycle rider has knocked a reporter of New Telegraph Newspaper in Bauchi ,Malam Alhassan Yusuf to death.
Family of the deceased confirmed the death of the reporter after the incident in Bauchi last Wednesday.
Elder sister to the deceased Hajiya Jummai Yusuf explained that the late journalist was crossing a road near his house along Wunti Street in Bauchi State capital when a motorcycle rider came on high speed and crushed him, before the accident, the journalist was hale and hearty.
She said after the incident the deceased was taken to hospital unconscious where he later died while receiving treatment.
Special Adviser to the Bauchi State Governor on Media, Ali M. Ali expressed shock over the demise of the late Journalist.
He said he spoke with the late reporter last week and prayed to Allah to grant him eternal rest.
Late Alhassan passed away at the age of 45 and left behind one wife and six children.
His remains was laid to rest yesterday.
