MTN Nigeria has issued a heartfelt apology following customer backlash over a sudden 200% increase in the price of its 15GB digital bundle.

In a statement directed to affected users, the telecom giant acknowledged the frustration, admitting:

“You dey vex. We know.”

The company further expressed regret for the unexpected data price surge, stating:

“We could share several reasons, and provide explanations, but omo, all that one na story.”

Assuring customers that the move was not intentional, MTN Nigeria openly confessed:

“We don cast. We get it and admit it. Let’s just say na mistake.”

Encouraging users to forgive and move on, the statement concluded with an appeal:

“In this love season, don’t stay angry with us. Please forgive and forget. You matter die and we will never stop showing you how much. Let’s continue our relationship.”

The apology comes amid mounting pressure from subscribers, many of whom took to social media to express their dissatisfaction.

While MTN has not confirmed whether the data price hike will be reversed, this public acknowledgment signals an attempt to mend its relationship with customers.
