Mustapha Inuwa, Katsina leading opposition figure set to join Jonathan’s campaign
A leading opposition figure in Katsina State, Dr Mustapha Inuwa says he has held discussion with former President Goodluck Jonathan as he mulls his next of action after losing the African Democratic Congress, ADC, governorship ticket.
At a meeting with his supporters on Saturday in Katsina, Mustapha said his stay in the ADC is predicted on “justice being done with regards to the party’s governorship candidacy”.
According to him, he was approached recently by Jonathan, the Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to join the party.
Mustapha said he had met with the former President and the PDP interim National Chairman, Tanimu Turaki seeking for his support ahead of the 2027 general election.
