Mustapha Lamido disburses 6,000 liters of fertilizer to farmers

The Jigawa state gubernatorial candidate of People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Mustapha Sule Lamido disbursed 6,000 liters of agro-fertilizer to farmers in the state.
Speaking during the disbursement held at his campaign office in Dutse, Alhaji Mustapha Sule Lamido who was represented by his running mate Alhaji Babandi Gumel said, over 365 farmer’s associations will benefit from the fertilizer.
According to him, this is part of effort to unite Jigawa people, and a move to fight against hunger as well as to boost the economy of teeming population of the state.
Alhaji Mustapha Sule Lamido added that, the 6,000 liters fertilizer will be distribute to all farmers in the state, regardless of what political party the farmer came from.
He then urged the beneficiaries to use the fertilizer appropriately to achieve the desired goal of fight against hunger in the state.
While making his remarks, the agricultural consultant who was assigned to lead the distribution, Alhaji Muhammad Ahmad Adamu said, the fertilizer will be disburse across three Senatorial zones adding that, North-east zone will take the larger share.
The agricultural consultant explained that, the 500 cartoons of fertilizer contained 6,000 litres that would cover about 3,000 hectres of farm.
