My plans for Gwagwalada chiefs best known to me – Chairman

The Executive Chairman of Gwagwalada Area Council in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT, Hon. Abubakar Jubrin Giri, has said that his plans for the traditional rulers are best known to him in terms of their welfare.
Jibrin Giri, who made this known in an interview with newsmen during the Chieftaincy celebration of District Head of Gwako community, His Royal Highness Ibrahim Tukura on Saturday in the Area.
He said his administration would carry the traditional rulers along in the scheme of things, advising them to always co-operate and support the government of the Area Council .
He also appealed to the royal fathers to deem it necessary to live in peace with their people for the overall development of their communities.
He charged the residents of Gwagwalada Area and the FCT at large to live in peace, noting that no community would develop without peace and the co-operation of the people.
The Chairman expressed with happiness that his administration would continue to upgrade the Chieftaincy institution in Gwagwalada and its communities for better.
Also speaking, the District Head of Gwako community, His Royal Majesty Ibrahim Tukura, called on the entire residents to come together to move the Gwako community to the next level.
He then appealed to the Gwagwalada Chairman to give the necessary attention to the welfare of the traditional rulers, saying that he would continue to co-operate with the authority of the Area Council at all times.
Tukura, who is an Immigration officer, however, pleaded with the Chairman to gear towards arresting the security challenges facing the people of Gwagwalada and advised Gwako residents to desist from any act capable of causing rancor and acrimony in the area.
