N/Delta Ministry: Adesola urges transparency in contract bidding process

Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs, Mr. Olusade Adesola, on assumption of duty, immediately insisted that the bidding process for contract must be transparent while instructing the Director of Procurement to put all information on the website.
He also went further to charge the head of human resources to make room for regular meeting among the management staff a norm in other to know the challenges faced by each department.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Chairperson, Ministry of Niger Delta Press Corps, Lulu Bankong.
The Press Corps congratulated the Permanent Secretary, Mr. Olusade Adesola on his redeployment to the Ministry, saying it was a round peg in a round hole.
Chairperson of the association, Ms Lulu Bankong said the wealth of experience he is bringing to the Niger Delta ministry will be highly invaluable.
“He is the best thing that could ever happen to the Niger Delta ministry because his statement on assumption of office shows his sign of intent and that he is ready to work with everybody in achieving the objective of creating the ministry”, she said.
She however urged him to avoid the pitfalls of the past permanent secretaries so that posterity can judge him well, adding that the Niger Delta Press Corp look forward to a fruitful relationship among them, the ministry and other agencies under the ministry.
