National Hydro-electric Power Producing Areas Development Commission N-HYPPADEC has concluded plans to adopt stringent measures for the distribution of starter packs worth N2 billion to 6,000 youths in the 6 first catchment states.
The Managing Director Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Yelwa made the disclosure at a stakeholders Youth Transformation Program meeting held at its headquarters in Minna.
Represented by the Assistant Director Finance, Dr Bala H. Mohammed who said that due to the sensitivity of youths as leaders of tomorrow, they should be engaged in various skills acquisition programmes to be self reliant and employed.
He noted that this will go a long way in cushioning the effects of economic hardship being experienced by creating job opportunities.
He emphasized that every process is at completion stage for the flag off ceremony.
