The National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA), embarked on annual performance assessment in over 2,000 centres across the country.
The Director general of (NACA) Dr Gambo Aliyu dropped the hint while declaring the North-West Stakeholders annual performance Management progress review meeting open at Tahir quest palace hotel Dutse
Dr Aliyu who described the review meeting as first of its kind said, it is right time to evaluate and assess the services provided by over 2,000 centres of NACA across the country to strategize more for future targets.
He explained that the review meeting will also help NACA to know how far it has done on keeping the HIV/AIDs within people that have the virus.
The DG then mentioned stigmatization to the victims as major challenges, urging the general public to interact with HIV/AIDs victims like every patients of other diseases.
Meanwhile the DG visited the Dutse emirate palace where he mourned the people of Jigawa over the death of emir and congratulated the new emir Alhaji Hameem Nuhu Sunusi.
