The Bauchi State Chapter of National Council of Muslim Youth Organization, NACOMYO has reiterated its commitment to assist the State Government to ensure discipline and good moral behaviors amongst students of Public Schools in the state.
State Coordinator of the Organization, Dr. Abubakar Sadiq made the call when he led Executives of the Organization on a courtesy visit to the State Commissioner for Education, Professor Haruna Danwanka in his office. He called on the State Ministry of Education to ensure standards in Private Schools for the Educational Development of the State Dr. Sadiq described the Organization as an umbrella body of all Muslim Youth Organization rendering assistance towards societal re-orientation and development.
The Coordinator said the visit was to seek partnership with the Ministry to find lasting solution to the challenges militating against the development of the Education Sector in the state.
The State Secretary of the Organization, Malam Ibrahim Malam Goje said the visit become imperative because of the importance of the Ministry in the educational development of the state.
The Commissioner for Education, Professor Haruna Abdullahi Danwanka said that the Ministry has taken proactive measures to address some of the challenges in the education sector.
Professor Danwanka who said the introduction of religious subjects in schools is to ensure moral conduct among students, appealed to the organization to contribute towards the development of the sector.
