Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has expressed profound sadness over the crash of a Nigerian Air Force aircraft in Igbokoda, Ondo State, which claimed the lives of personnel and passengers on board.
In a condolence message posted on his X handle, Tambuwal called for adequate care and support for the families of the victims and necessary steps to prevent a recurrence.
He described the tragedy as a loss to the entire nation and extended his sympathies to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Nigerian military, and families of the victims.
“Behind each life lost is a family whose world has changed forever. No words can ease the anguish of such a sudden separation,” he said.
Tambuwal honoured the service and sacrifice of the fallen personnel and mourned the passengers whose lives were cut short, assuring the bereaved families of solidarity during this difficult period.
He prayed that Almighty God would grant eternal rest to the departed, comfort their loved ones and give them the strength to bear the irreparable loss.
