The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has confirmed the safe arrival of its C-130 aircraft, with registration NAF 913, at the OGMA maintenance facility in Lisbon, Portugal, for scheduled depot maintenance.
According to a statement issued on Thursday, the aircraft successfully completed its ferry flight, transiting through Banjul and Casablanca in line with an updated flight plan and established aviation safety procedures.
The operation was concluded without incident, marking the final phase of the aircraft’s movement for the planned maintenance programme.
The NAF stated that both the aircraft and its crew arrived safely and in high spirits, reaffirming that all safety and operational standards were strictly observed throughout the journey.
The Air Force also expressed appreciation to host authorities in the transit locations for their cooperation and support, while reiterating its commitment to the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and operational accountability.
