NANTMP bonafide members qualify to contest election

The National President of the National Association of Nigeria Traditional Medicine Practitioners (NANTMP), Alhaji Dr. Shaban Maikudi, has said that every bonafide member of the association is qualified to contest an election at the end of expiration of this present executives.
Maikudi, who disclosed this while speaking to People’s Daily Correspondent after the annual general meeting of the association at Jeparo Hotel in Gwagwalada, saying that the constitution of the association allowed bonafide members to contest.
While reading his welcome address during the annual general meeting of the association, the president revealed that the present executives were duly elected since 2019.
According to Maikudi, since the assumption of the present executives in office, the COVID-19 pandemic has consumed our time and several litigations until 2022 when a verdict from competent court jurisdiction delivered a judgment in favour of NANTMP.
He explained that one of the achievements of the present executive was that two members of NANTMP had been nominated to the Governing Council of Nigeria Natural Medicine Development Agency (NNMDA) among other achievements recorded so far.
He, however, disclosed that the leadership of NANTMP was ready to secure Data base for every member of the association, adding that a website would be created in order to have access to information to the activities of the association.
