The National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) is set to usher in the next leadership of the association.
This was contained in a statement by Chairman Convention Planning Committee (CPC) Activist Sunday Asuku.
The statement stated that abiding by the working document of NAPS, otherwise known as the Constitution, which stipulates a calendar year for each tenure, signals the end of Comrade Ridwan Opeyemi-led administration, hence the call for transition.
“According to the tradition of NAPS, the Senate converged at Federal Polytechnic Ede in Osun State for the usual Pre-Convention on 30th November, and Activist Sunday Asuku a former President of the association was nominated and endorsed as the Chairman Convention Planning Committee (CPC) to champion the transition process and organize a befitting election to usher in the next leadership of NAPS.”
