The Nasarawa State local government civil Service Commission on Wednesday engaged local government Directors of Personal Management (DPM) in a two day workshop on security with the theme: Train the trainer workshop on the imperative of security as a panacea for growth and development of local government system in Nasarawa State.
Addressing the participants at the Chamber of the ministry for local government and chieftaincy affairs, the chairman of the commission, Barrister Mohammed Sani Bawa affirmed that, the issue of security is very inevitable hence the need for people to be educated on the safety of their lives and environment always.
According to him, “security is very significant in day to day activities. Without security nothing will work well in a community. Without security, the protection of our people will be meaningless. I called on all LGC authorities across the state to take security of their communities into cognizance.”
