In a bid to provide social amenities as well as to enhance socio economic activities in Rural and urban centers by the led administration of engineer Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State, plan have reached advance stage to provide electricity to some communities across the state.
The General Manager, Nasarawa Electricity Power Agency (NAEPA) Engineer Abubakar Danjuma Ango who made the disclosure in an interview with Peoples Daily in Lafia, added that Rural electrification project is one of the cardinal concern of governor Sule, assuring that very soon, many rural and urban centers will be provided with electricity in order to boost socio economic activities.
According to him, Keffi, Gitata-Panda electricity project will soon be completed. “We have invited stakeholders for a meeting aimed at making sure that all abandoned electrification projects across the state should be completed”.
