Musa Salihu Iyimoga, a former member of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, has officially resigned from the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP).
The announcement came through a letter dated Monday, December 18, 2023, addressed to the Chairman of the ZLP in his Sabon Gari ward of Doma Local Government Area, Nasarawa State.
Iyimoga, who represented the Doma North Constituency during the 6th Assembly, did not provide any specific reasons for his decision to sever ties with the party.
The former lawmaker gained public attention in 2019 when he secured victory on the platform of the ZLP.
Iyimoga, who sought reelection, faced a setback in his bid, ultimately losing to the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP).
