Gov. Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State, has reappointed Barr. Ayuba Wandai Usman as Chairman, Nasarawa State Independent Electoral Commission (NASIEC)
Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau, the Speaker of the House made the announcement during the House proceedings yesterday.
Jatau who read the Governor’s letter said that the reappointment of NASIEC Chairman was inline with the power conferred on the Governor by the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The letter reads in parts “ With the power conferred on me by the Constitution, I Engr. Abdullahi Sule appoint Barr. Ayuba Wandai Usman as Chairman, Nasarawa State Independent Electoral Commission (NASIEC)”
Speaker Jatau directed the Clerk of the House to communicate to the nominee to submit 30 copies of his Curriculum Vitae (CV).
“And he should appear for screening and possible confirmation tomorrow, September 9th, 2025” he said.
