Nasarawa Govt. advised beneficiaries of FG’s cash transfer to plan

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has admonished over 2,600 women who are beneficiaries of the Federal Government cash transfer in Nasarawa State to make judicious use of the fund as well as commended President Muhammadu Buhari and the minister for Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development Hajiya Sadiya Umar Farouq for initiating the programme targeted at ameliorating millions of women in Nigeria.
The Governor who was represented by His Deputy Dr. Emmanuel Akabe stated this during the flag off – of Federal Government grants to Rural women in Nasarawa State at the Government House Lafia Thursday, stressing that the federal government intervention to reach out to the rural women will also go a long-way in curtail poverty in the society.
According to him, “This will improve the status of the vulnerable. The beneficiaries should appreciate the gesture. It will add value to the society economically.”
