Nasarawa Govt recruits 2,140 teachers, says Al-makura

In a bid to boast the standard of education in Nasarawa state, Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura, yesterday announced the recruitment of over 2,140 teachers in Nasarawa State.
The governor who made the assertion in Lafia the state capital while addressing the newly employed teachers who are to teach in secondary schools across the state.
He maintained that the top most priority of his administration was to ensure quality education across the state, noting that the state government policy gear towards education is broad base perspective.
Al-makura further expressed confidence with the tremendous turnout of the newly employed teachers during the ceremony to mark the official pronouncement of their employment, added that the employed teachers would be give their employment letters and posting letters next week.
The governor also stressed that his administration right from inception has constructed body- schools with body facilities.
According to him, “ We have also embark on robust rehabilitation of schools across the state. My administration is making every frantic effort to re-position the education sector in the state”.
Speaking further on politics the governor cautioned those spreading fake news capable of causing disharmony among the operate existence of the good people of Nasarawa state to desist as according to him “My administration would not allowed people that do not mean well for the state to create problem. Let us dwell on issues that will bring peace and development to the state.”
