Nasarawa govt targets N3b revenue

In a bid to improve revenue generation in Nasarawa State to curtail over dependency on federal monthly allocation, the Commissioner for special duties on Revenue Generation, Hon. Mohammed Bashir Aliyu has said that the authority saddled with revenue generation is working assiduously to generating huge revenue to the covers of the state government through Pay as you earn (PAYE TAX) as targeted by the state government.
Hon. Bashir stated this in an interview with newsmen in Lafia on the methodogy adopted by the agencies responsible for revenue generation in the state.
She said the leadership of Governor Abdullahi Sule is determined to improve the living standard of the people.
