Member Nasarawa State House of Assembly Representing the great people of Toto-Gadabuke Constituency in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Mohammed Garba Isimbabi, has called on Egbira community across the country and beyond to always promote their culture and tradition.
Hon Isimbabi who is also the Chairman House Committee on Youth and Sports Development, called on them to be good Ambassadors whenever they found themselves.
He made the call at this year’s Egbira Day held at the College of Education Akwanga.
The event was organized by Egbira National Student Association (ENSA), College of Education Akwanga Chapter.
The Lawmaker who made a donation of N500,000 on behalf of himself, the state Attorney General, Shuaibu Magaji Esq, Ozi Idu, Ohi Egbira of Lafia and Akwanga and others, also stressed the importance of culture and tradition in the development of the people.
Hon. Isimbabi who served as the Chairman of the occasion, promised to partner with the students Association for the growth and tribal upliftment considering the significant of Education to societal development.
He noted that Egbira people were known for discipline and hardwork among the Kwararafa descendants.
He advised the Students to shun Examination Malpractice, Cultism and other negative acts capable of affecting their education and the society at large.
He commended Governor of Nasarawa State Engr. Abdullahi Sule, for his passion for educational sector, urge the people to pray and support governments at all levels to succeed.
The ENSA, President, College of Education Akwanga Chapter, Comr. Dauda Suleiman, appreciated lawmaker for his fatherly advise and the financial support.
He prayed to God to reward and grant him journey mercy back to his destination.
