Nasarawa: PDP gives equal opportunity to all aspirants -State Chair

Nasarawa State Peoples Democratic Party PDP has assured equal treatment
to all aspirants who indicated interest to contest in the various political positions in 2019 general elections.
The state party chairman Honorable Francis Orogu, who made the assertion yesterday while addressing party supporters who gathered to witness the official
declaration of Mr. Joseph Kigbu to contest for the House of Representative Lafia Obi federal constituency in 2019.
According to him, “Our door is open to all individuals who want to contest. We as a party will accommodate everyone wishes to contest. We also call on individuals that want to join the party as a member to do so.
Orogu further urged PDP members to be committed, focus and united in order to take over power in 2019.
In his declaration speech, Mr. Kigbu implored his supporters to be firm by voting PDP in 2019 as according to him “ That is the only party that can salvage the state and the country economically. I urged you to work assiduously to ensure PDP return to power in 2019 in the state and country as a whole,” he maintained.
Kigbu further assured his supporters his readiness and commitment to provide Health care, road, water and electricity if voted.
“I will add value to the party. I will represent my people irrespective of tribe or religion” Kigbu added. He however appealed to supporters of PDP in the state to register and collect their voters card as, according to him, “That is the only identity panacea for you to exercise your right during the voting process.”
