Abuja, Nigeria’s federal capital will come alive on Thursday this week when two NPFL heavyweight, Nasarawa United and Plateau United clash in the 2026 President Federation Cup Quarter-final
The North-Centrral derby game signposts the Quarterfinal fixtures according the Nigeria Football Federation statement on Sunday
Nasarawa United who defeated Rivers United 5-3 on penalties after regulation ended 2-2 in the Round of 16 will seek to overcome their neighbours and reach the last four while Plateau United who beat Basira 2-1 to reach the last 8 will be determined to inflict pains on the Solid Miners
In other pairings, Wikki Tourists and Flight FC will square up in Jos, Sokoto United will take on El Kanemi Warriors in Kano while Ikorodu City who eliminated Enyimba in the Round of 16, will battle Barau FC in Awka.
All matches will be played on Thursday this week commencing from 4pm
