The National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) has flagged-off skills acquisition training for 100 farmers in Kebbi state.
The flag off which took place yesterday at the Azibir Hotel Birnin Kebbi, the State Capital was aimed at empowering youth so as to reduce poverty in the state.
Delivering his remark at the opening ceremony, the Kebbi State Governor Senator Atiku Abubakar Bagudu commended President Muhammadu Buhari for promoting agriculture in the country and providing food security.
He stated further that the training will help famers on the modern farming methods.
