The leadership of the National Assembly Legislative Aides Forum (NASSLAF) has rolled out a list of Standing and Ad- hoc Committees to be inaugurated for effective and efficient discharge of the fundamental objectives of thebody.
The executive body of the Forum, led by Honourable Sam Melaye, released the committees in a statement it issued in Abuja yesterday.
According to the statement, the Standing Committees are Finance, Welfare, Publicity, Disciplinary and Research.
The statement further revealed that those to be constituted as Ad-hoc Committees were Merit Award, Sports, Constitution Review and Budget.
Melaye also noted that for the Committees, membership would be constituted with one member from each of the six geopolitical zones and a Chairman.
Consequently, the Forum in the statement listed names of Chairmen and members of some of the committees such as Disciplinary and Research and Development under standing committees.
Chairmen and members of the four ad-hoc committees, were also named.
