NATCOM Bill propounder warns Nigerians to beware of  fraudsters and impersonators

The bill Propounder of the proposed National Commission for the Co-ordination and Control of Proliferation of Small Arms and Light Weapons, NATCOM, Dr. Baba Mohammed who is also the Madaki of Ankpa has issued stern warning to unsuspecting Nigerians to beware of fraudsters as the suspension on NATCOM operations remain in force.

In a statement of disclaimer issued in Abuja, the NATCOM Bill Propounder distance self and the proposed commission from any proposed biometric or data capturing onbehalf of NATCOM by some criminal elements.

The statement added that any transaction with the unknown criminal elements is at the peril of whoever deals with them.

As a law abiding organization, NATCOM will continue to await further action by Mr president towards the realization of the commision which is inline with ECOWAS Convention which Nigeria is signatory.

Anyone or group of persons found wanting in impersonating the proposed NATCOM which activities are yet to commence shall face the full wrath of the law, Dr Baba Mohammed emphasized.
