National Ear Center Kaduna begins free screening of infants

National Ear Center Kaduna is set to flag-off a progaramme towards screening infants born with ears ailments.
The Medical Director of the Center, Dr. Abubakar Mustapha disclosed this yesterday while speaking to newsmen in Kaduna.
Dr. Abubakar Mustapha who paid official visit to Barau Dikko Specialist Hospital in preparation for the exercise, said they are hoping that early next year the programme will commence and free for all infants.
He assured that the programme will be taken to the rural areas
, “We are at Barrau Dikko Hospital because we want to flag-off a programme that will screen infants that were born with ear ailments as well as to ensure that their organs of hearing are functional and if it is not to take the next line of action.”
