National Task Force to recruit 5 million Nigerians, says DG

Director-General National Task Force, Dr. Emmanuel Okereke has disclosed that over 5 million Nigerians will be recruited into the force within the next 3 years.
This even as he assured of transparency in the exercise while warning the recruits not to indulge in any corrupt act by giving bribe to facilitate their employment.
The DG, who disclosed this yesterday while inaugurating the over 800 cadet camping held at the Immaculate Heart College of Education, Dagba, Makurdi charged the cadets to be in the vanguard against smuggling of illicit goods, arms and ammunitions when they are finally absorbed into the force.
He explained that the mandate of the paramilitary organization is to combat illegal importation of illicit goods in addition to monitoring of pipelines.
He, therefore, advised them to be prepared to join forces with other security agencies to sustain the fight against the unwholesome practices which have affected the socio-economic development of the country when they are recruited.
The state director of the Force, Mr. Ali Agbane commended the cadets for their display of maturity and good conduct.
