The Executive Secretary of the National Commission for College of Education NCCE, Professor Bappah Aliyu Muhammad has charged the new provost to be innovate in order to generate Internal revenue for the colleges.
The ES made this plea while speaking to newsmen at the Send off party for the outgone Provosts of colleges of Education in Nigeria held in Abuja.
He commended the outgone Provosts for their commitment and dedication in managing crisis in colleges.
His words,” the outgone time, and I have also said they have performed well and I also wish them well in their next assignment, we want to encrop like them to succeed them so that they can add value to the college of education.
“ We plead to the new Provosts to manage the lean the resources and also to innovate, innovation that can get them into more IGR for development.
“It is because they have performed well that we have the least crisis among the tertiary institutions, therefore I commend you for the effort you have been using to keep those institutions together. They have performed well. It is for us we cab=n recommend a higher position for them.
