The Executive Secretary Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission, Bishop Stephen Adegbite has said that the Commission under his leadership would not compromise standard and nobody would be allowed to short change Nigerians anymore as far as Christian Pilgrimage is concerned.
The NCPC boss made this disclosure during a sensitization visit to the Executive Governor of Nasarawa state, Engr. Abdullahi Sule at Government House, Lafia.
He disclosed that the Commission would open bid for service providers for the 2024 Pilgrimage exercise on the 11th of February, 2024, stating that due process must be religiously followed for transparency and proper selection of bidders in line with the procurement Act of 2007.
In a statement by the Deputy Director and Head Media and Public Relations, Celestine Toruka, the Executive Secretary appealed to Nasarawa state Governor to continue to support Christian Pilgrimage.
The NCPC boss also canvassed for support for the -not -too bouyant Christians in the North, who may not be able to afford to go on pilgrimage.
The NCPC helmsman also congratulated Governor Sule and his deputy for their victory at the polls and the Supreme Court judgement which validated their election.
