The National Council of Women Societies (NCWS) has commended Kaduna state Governor, Mallam Nasiru El-rufai for the disbursement of two hundred million Naira (200,000,000) as part of Kaduna State Women Empowerment fund (KADSWEF).
The President of the society, Barr. Zainab Hassan gave the commendation while speaking to the Media during the flag- off of the KADSWEF 3.0 in Kaduna.
According to her, the call from the governor to women in Kaduna state to be more confident of themselves, and not to think that they can only be wives and mothers, is a welcome development and encouraging statement.
She therefore, called on women in Kaduna to take the advice of the governor seriously.
