Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi netted the equalising goal as Leicester City forced Chelsea to a 1-1 draw in their Premier League clash at the Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
The hosts made a vibrant start to the match and deserved the lead when Mason Mount gave it to them after only seven minutes, with the English man robbing Ndidi of possession of the ball before scoring.
The result leaves the home side with just one point from their opening two league outings under Lampard, while it is back-to-back draws for Leicester at the start of the new campaign.
Leicester City’s Nigerian forward Kelechi Iheanacho was benched for the entire 90 minutes of the game.
