The director general, Kaduna Dr. Usman Saulawa, DG, Kaduna Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (KADCCIMA) said that the new Naira notes policy is responsible for the low turnout at the 2023 Kaduna International trade fair.
The DG made this known in an interview with newsmen yesterday in Kaduna.
“The redesigned Naira has in no small measure affected this year’s trade fair; most especially those that wanted to come and construct their stands.
“To a very great extent the trade fair is being affected by the fuel scarcity which made it extremely difficult for both visitors and exhibitors to attend the fair.”
