The Director-General of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, has called on Nigerians at home and abroad to bolster their faith in the country as the new year approaches, citing the early signs of progress under the nation’s transformational agenda.

In a New Year message, Issa-Onilu expressed gratitude to Nigerians for their unwavering support throughout 2024, particularly for critical economic reforms and efforts to combat insecurity under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

He emphasized that the collective resolve of Nigerians to back government policies has helped surmount challenges over the past year.

“The promises of good planning for a transformational nation have started yielding positive results,” Issa-Onilu said, acknowledging the resilience demonstrated by citizens.

Onilu urged Nigerians to maintain unity and determination against internal and external forces, reassuring them that Nigeria would remain an “indivisible entity.”

NOA, in a statement issued by its Deputy Director of Press, Paul Odenyi, assured the public of adequate security arrangements for a peaceful celebration.

“The year 2025 promises growth and development for our dear nation. We should not be distracted by the antics of our enemies. A united Nigeria will be greater and prosperous.”
