The Nigerian Exporters Hub (NEXHUB), powered by Zeenab Foods Limited, has concluded its transformative NEX-GEN EXPORT SUMMIT 2025, a two-day virtual event held on 25-26 April, aimed at galvanising Nigerian youth to lead the charge in the global export economy.

Drawing participants from all 36 Nigerian states and the diaspora, the summit underscored its nationwide reach and ambition to reshape Nigeria’s economic future through youth-driven trade.

The summit opened with a stirring keynote by Dr. Victor Ayemere, NEXHUB Chairman, titled “Why This Summit Matters: Youth, Trade, and Transformation.”

Rejecting the passive mindset of the old song Que Sera, Sera, Ayemere urged young Nigerians to shun social media distractions and actively shape their futures through agriculture, entertainment, and export-focused industries.

“The only way to predict the future is to create it,” he declared, setting an action-oriented tone for the event.

Hon. Stella Okotete, Executive Director of Business Development at NEXIM Bank, delivered a powerful address on “Strategies for Exporting Talent and Services.”

A prominent advocate for youth and women’s economic inclusion, Okotete highlighted Nigeria’s untapped potential in sectors like agriculture, manufacturing, recycling, and e-commerce.

She challenged participants to build capacity and compete globally, urging them to “roll up their sleeves” and transform opportunities into tangible success.

Day one featured a session by Mrs. Kafilat Abimbola Ayeni, CEO of Bimkaf Palace Nigeria Limited, who emphasised the importance of smart packaging and branding to make Nigerian products competitive internationally.

Mrs. Jennifer Maksat, Head of Operations, outlined NEXHUB’s structured platforms designed to help youth access global markets.

Expert-led sessions reinforced the summit’s practical focus. Dr. Alhaji Adamu Adamu of Zeenab Group stressed personal responsibility in his talk, “It Begins With You,” while Dr. Bamidele Ayemibo of 3T Impex provided actionable steps for becoming a successful exporter, emphasising credible information and strategic partnerships.
