Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State alongside his colleagues of Jigawa and Kebbi States that represented the Northern Governors Forum, NGF, has described as unfortunate, the recent killing of some innocent people in Plateau State.
The governors made their position known when they paid a sympathy visit to Governor Simon Lalong at Government House Jos.
Governor Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State who led his colleagues of Bauchi and Jigawa States said the visit is to support the security measures taken by Governor Simon Lalong to avert the recurrence of such incident in the state.
He said Governor Simon Lalong being the chairman of the forum, members unanimously agreed to support him to ensure the maintenance of peace and security in the state.
Governor Bagudu emphasized the need for mutual understanding among all the citizens of plateau state regardless of their differences to ensure the development of the state.
Responding, Governor Simon Lalong expressed gratitude to the three governors for the visit, describing it as a morale booster.
