NGO flags off campaign against hunger

A Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), “Victor Ese Foundation” has flag-off campaign against hunger.
The programme which begun in 2010 in Italy, is geared towards the implementation of Sustainable Development Goals.
President, Mr. Ese Victor, said the foundation was in the state to enhance the wellbeing of the people, impact lives in the society.
He appealed to stakeholders both in Nigeria and abroad to lend support that will lead to employment opportunities for the idle youths in the country.
Ese said at the official formal unveiling of the NGO, that the organization has ceased deal with partners in Diaspora for technical assistance in the area of mechanized farming that would boost food production in Nigeria.
According to him, “we must collectively come together to build a better Nigeria that we can be proud of at home and abroad.
“We have been working and empowering people since 2010, like in 2013, about 30 persons both men, women and youths were trained in different skills and today, they are better off. They are now owners of small scale businesses.
“We are going to be partnering with Ministry of Agriculture both state and federal to ensure that through our education and research department. We will educate the people on the need to acquire more than one skill to make Nigeria a better place,” he said.
Mary Osagie , Emmanuel Onome who were among those that received economic empowerment, commended the group for the gesture and sued for its sustenance
