NGO reiterates commitment to girl-child opportunities in Niger

Parents and care givers have been called upon to give more opportunities to the girl-child to harness their potentials.
The call was made by Mrs Dorathy Nuhu Aken’ova Cesnamihilo, the country Director of INCRESE, a Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) while speaking to journalists in Minna.
She emphasized on the need for parents and government to rally round the female child by supporting her education and skills acquisition instead of marrying them off at early age.
Mrs Dorathy Nuhu, enjoyed corporate bodies, government and spirited individuals to work closely with INCRESE so as to produce functional girl-child that will make positive contributions to the society.
She then express the readiness of her organisation in changing the fortunes of the girl-child in the areas of personal hygiene in schools, education and skills acquisition programmes among others.
