The Bright Girls Empowerment, Progress and Development initiative (NGOs) has screened 100 Kebbi State Females secondary school students graduate that will study medicine in foreign Universities.
Addressing newsmen yesterday in Birnin Kebbi, the Secretary of the organization Mallam Abubakar Mohammed BK said that the programme is to promote the girls child education and ensure that they participate in the medical profession.
He explained further that the programme is in collaborate with the Kebbi State Ministry for Local Government and chieftaincy Affairs with aim to increase the number of Female Doctors and nurses in the State.
