According to the senior programme officer of WFI, a non-governmental organization, Mrs. Frances Teshoma, who disclosed this, the training was carried out in four days, in Kuje area council, of the Territory.

Teshoma, who spoke in a recent interview with Peoples Daily, in Kuje, said workshop was also aimed at strengthening community support for increased access and utilization of family planning as well as post abortion care.

She further noted that it was to strengthen public-private referral linkages for integrated post abortion care as well as family planning/HIV information and services.

She explained that the MSS midwives and Nurses/Midwives were drawn from all the primary health care facilities as well as private clinics across the six area council of the FCT.

According to her, the management of the organization would continue to improve the health and well-being of women, children, and adolescent as well as youth in the society.
