A non- governmental organization, Word Alive International on the sensitization and menstrual awareness for the girls child education, protection and free sanitary distribution has called on the Federal Governments and relevant authorities to subsidize sanitary pads in order to promote good menstrual hygiene amongst girls child in the country.
The NGOs Director, Chinyere Godwin Abba made the call during an awareness held at Government secondary school, Dutse, Abuja over the weekend.
She said, “I think there shouldn’t be a taboo and there should be lots of sensitization.
