Niger State African Democratic Congress (ADC) gubernatorial candidate, Dr. Mohammed Kpautagi Mohammed has revealed that his priority is to end the problem of banditry in the state if elected as Governor in the 2027 general election.
He made the pledge while addressing journalists in Minna, after he was declared winner in the party’s governorship primary election in Minna.
Dr Mohammed Kpautagi expressed optimism that with the level of acceptance of the ADC by people of Niger state, the All Progressives Congress (APC) will park and go home.
He maintained that he will look into the problems of the bad nature of Federal Government roads spread across the state when he emerged as governor in 2027 general elections.
According to him, he will further work relentlessly towards correcting the wrongs perpetuated by the current administration of APC in Niger state.
He added that if given the mandate two years is enough for him to announce his arrival in a more positive ways, and restore the dignity of the state.
Dr. Kpautagi revealed plans to set up a reconciliation committee to reconcile aggrieved members of ADC to ensure that the party sustains its position as a formidable force to challenge the ruling APC in the next general elections.
He noted that they don’t have any litigation problems because the issue before them can be resolved amicably and that they are good to go, however appreciated the people of Niger state for the show of love and solidarity to the party,insisting that he will never disappoint them.
