Chairman, Association of Retired Niger State Heads of Service and Permanent Secretaries, Dr Mohammed Dansabe has disclosed that the association has secured the approval from the State Government for the inclusion of its members in the consequential upward review of their salaries and allowances.
The Chairman stated this in a communique issued at the 2023 general meeting of the association in Minna, saying that 5 of their members died within the year while 12 others who retired from service were officially introduced as new members of the association.
The Chairman also applauded Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umar Bago for appointing some of its members into various executive positions in the state, calling on the appointees to reciprocate the gesture by living up to expectations.
Elections were also concocted where Alhaji Muhammad Aliyu Madugu emerged as the Chairman and Muhammad Sani Barde as Secretary.
Other Executives include, Princes Rachel Yisa as Vice Chairman, Muhammad Zungai Bawa as Financial Secretary and Ndagi Usman Wali as legal adviser among others.
The New Chairman, Alhaji Madugu appreciated Members of the association for the trust saying his team will deliver on its promises.
