The proprietress of the Race Restaurant and Suites in Suleja Local Government Area of Niger State, Christy Ella Edwin has been conferred with the two media awards y the orator communications limited, the publishers of orator weekly newspapers based in Niger State and FCT, Abuja.
The two media wards tagged “Ambassador of Progress” and “Icon of Humanitarian”.
Conferring the awards the Managing Editor of Orator Weekly newspapers, Mr. Nasir Oseni, said the award were bestowed on the proprietress based on her outstanding contributions in the society.
He added that the proprietress of Lace Restaurant and Suites was honoured due to the research carried out by the Editorial Board of the Orator Weekly Newspapers.
Oseni told the gathering that the management of Orator weekly newspapers deemed it necessary to honour the proprietress as a result of her selfless services rendered to the society, saying that orator organization does not honour people with questionable character.
Responding, the recipient of the day, authority of the Orator Communications Limited for recognizing her.
Some of the guests as well as some staff of the Lace Restaurant and Suites who spoke during the award ceremony, said the honour done to Christy Ella Edwin was a step in the right direction.
