Niger community laments security threat over closure of security office

Residents of Gbeganu Community have raised alarm on the current insecurity bedeviling the area due to lack of security presence following the closure of the only ADC office in the community.
Our reporter reliably gathered that the closure of the ADC office on the alleged directive of the Gunduma Gbeganu, Alhaji Aliyu Usman was without due process.
It was gathered that the community has no security presence since the closure of the ADC office, hence the people are leaving in fear of attack.
A resident, Nazir Saidu in an interview appealed for the immediate reopening of the ADC office to ensure security, peace and stability as well as the progress of the entire community.
Saidu who commended Gunduma Gbeganu for setting up a committee consisting of the four major languages of Gbagyi, Nupe, Hausa and Yoruba to ensure peace also advised the Niger state and local government to provide arms for the ADC security outfit.
They charged on the Chairman Chanchaga Local Government Council Aminu Yakubu Ladan to direct the Gunduma Gbeganu, Alhaji Aliyu Usman to consider the services offered by the security outfit.
