Niger CP assures media of synergy

Commissioner of Police Niger state Command, Mr Ogundele Ayodeji has assured the media in the state of maximum cooperation to achieve the much needed synergy that will motivate them in discharging their duties.

He made this known when he hosted members of the Correspondents Chapel of NUJ and some crime reporters to a banquet and end of year dinner at the police officers mess in Minna.

Mr Ogundele Ayodeji also called for constructive criticism by the media so as to move forward.

In his remarks Chairman Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Niger state council Comrade Abu Nmodu represented by the Assistant Secretary Comrade Abubakar Kuta commended the Commissioner of Police for organizing the get together and assured him of his members support at all times.

Responding, Chairman Correspondents Chapel of NUJ, Comrade Yakubu Mustapha Bina advised the new CP to continue to operate an open door policy, stressing that members of Correspondents Chapel are always ready to publicized his activities accurately and professionally in line with the ethics of the profession.
